Hey I'm Arvin!

Auckland-based Wedding Photographer

- and thank you for being here!

Going back to where it all started, I’m originally from the Philippines and moved to New Zealand in 2008. Growing up, I’ve always had a deep love for cinema and storytelling, which naturally led me to study filmmaking and television at university, where I completed two diplomas. Life had other plans for a while though, and I hit pause on that path to focus on building a life with family.

After spending a few years in the corporate world (what I like to call the longest side quest with very average loot), I finally decided in 2024 to follow what actually lights me up.

That leap led to co-founding Dreamlane Studios with a couple of close friends — a photo booth experience built on storytelling, great energy, and the kind of slightly chaotic group photos that end up being everyone’s favorites. Somewhere along the way, it completely reignited my love for photography.

If this sounds like the kind of energy and storytelling you want captured on your wedding day, I’d love to hear from you and see if we could be a great fit as your photographer!

WHat I do

I hunt down genuine, unscripted moments as your wedding naturally unfolds.

my Approach

I blend in more like a mate and not so much as a vendor, so you can relax, be yourselves, and actually enjoy the day.

Why it matters

Because the real, in-between moments are the ones you'll want to remember-and feel-years from now.

Frequently Asked Questions

Would it be possible for us to meet in person before making a decision?

Absolutely! It also helps ensure we’re aligned and feel totally at ease with each other before your big day. If an in-person catch-up isn’t possible, we can easily connect over a video call instead. And if we do meet, I’m a bit of a coffee junkie, so the coffee is on me!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide RAW files?

Unfortunately, I don’t provide RAW files, as editing is an essential part of the experience I offer. It’s a bit like a chef serving an unfinished dish—the final polish is what brings everything together.
